Abby comes from a long line of dreamers. Her family consists of hardworking craftsman and entertainers. The vines and redwoods of the glorious Russian River were the backdrop of her childhood which was filled with the simple pleasures of country life: outdoor fun, the love of a large extended family, and a relaxed rural lifestyle.

In stark contrast, Abby spent her young adult life in the hustle and bustle of San Francisco. The defining moment of Abby’s career occurred at the age of 18. She joined the opening team at One Market Restaurant. This set the stage for her to enter the world of hospitality and fine dining.

“I gradually worked my way up the ranks, working in every front of house position I could. I absorbed most of my culinary knowledge and my service technique from the best in the business. I have been fortunate to work with a wonderful array of world class chefs, sommeliers and restauranteurs. Our guests ranged from society people to heads of state and international travelers to locals celebrating a special night out. My goal was to guarantee each one a very special dining experience, one they would remember and tell all their friends about.”

Abby honed her extensive skills in several high-end restaurants in San Francisco including Farallon Restaurant, Lark Creek Inn, Fifth Foor Restaurant, Palio d’Asti, Kuleto’s and the restaurants of the Chalet Group.

“I had always enjoyed planning parties of all sorts for my friends and family, so in the end it was easy. Special events was exciting, ever changing and offered the satisfaction of happy guests.”

Abby brings decades of experience, planning thousands of business events and social occasions. Her favorite moments include Santana’s Christmas party, Julia Child’s 90th birthday, and countless weddings.

“I love seeing all the planning finally come together and getting to be a part of the excitement of the day. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a couple and their friends let go and really enjoy themselves!”

Today, Abby is a resident of the beautiful and serene Lake County.

“Returning to the California countryside of my youth, to the rural beauty of Lake County, is exciting and offers the chance to provide my son some of the magic that I experienced. I bring my San Francisco restaurant knowledge, my absolute belief in incredible hospitality and desire to provide a wonderful planning experience.”
